Tips and Advice on Spa Care

Cover Care:
  • Do not sit, stand or walk on your spa cover. They are not designed to hold weight.
  • Rinse/wipe chemical residue off the inside of the cover. Do not use soap, and use a dry rag to wipe.
  • Maintain the proper spa chemistry. In doing so, the vapors released are less damaging to the cover thus extending the life of your cover.
  • Remove the cover for 20-30 minutes after shocking your spa; this will prevent the corrosive fumes from eating away at the cover.
  • Use Cover Shield® to clean and maintain your cover year round.
  • DO NOT run the jets while the cover is on the tub.
Cleaning Your Spa:
  • Drain and fill spa accordingly. â—¦Rinse filters weekly, and soak the filters monthly.
  • To clean the shell, use a non-sudsing, non-abrasive cleaner with a soft rag or nylon scrubber. Do not apply the cleaner directly to the shell.
  • If you will not be using your spa during the winter months, have it winterized.
Safety Tips:
  • Do not use spa in an electrical storm.
  • No electrical appliances should be used at anytime while immersed in the spa or hot tub.
  • Children should be supervised at all times.
  • Do not immerse in water if the temperature of the water is above 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Check the water chemistry of your spa during the weekly maintenance.
